From Kapalua, Napili, or Kahana: Allow a 15-20 minute drive time.
From Ka’anapali: Allow a 5-10 minute drive time.

As you head south towards Lahaina on Highway 30, turn right at the Safeway/Cannery Mall onto Kapunakea Street.  Go down to Front Street and turn left.  Drive behind the mall and then one more block.  You will go over a little white bridge and then you will see the Mala Boat Ramp sign on the right (there is also a church on the right with a big blue “Jesus coming soon” sign on top).  Turn right onto Mala Road.  Once on Mala Road, you will see free parking on the left and right sides as well as a restroom on the left side. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE STALLS FOR TRUCKS AND TRAILERS. Park and then head to the trailer parking lot and/or down to the docks and look for the ORANGE rafts marked “Captain Steve’s.” If you can’t find parking on Mala Road, you can now park on Front Street.
